The process

  • The first step in your custom home journey begins with a meeting where we get to know each other and discuss your vision. We’ll also cover important details like financing options and pre-qualification to ensure we’re starting on a strong foundation.

  • The site of your future home must be identified, inspected and purchased. We will help you evaluate locations to best meet your home build project’s goals.

  • Together we will select a floorpan, exterior elevation and materials for your custom home. Cost and building timeline estimates are set.

  • In this phase, the plans are submitted to the entity for approval. Once plans are approved, the construction of your custom home can begin!

  • During the actual building phase of your project, we will work with contractors who meet our high quality standards to make sure every single aspect of your home is the best it can be. You will be included regularly throughout the project to watch it all come together.

  • The time has come to hand the keys of your custom built home over to you! You will continue to have access to us and our team even after your project is completed. It’s our goal to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new home.

However, once all permits are approved and in hand, the actual construction of our custom homes typically takes between 3 to 6 months.

What areas does CA Homes build in?

We currently build throughout the Magic Valley in Southern Idaho, and we’re always open to discussing projects in other locations as well.

How do I finance a custom home build?

For most custom home builds, a construction-to-permanent loan is typically required. At CA Homes, we work closely with trusted lenders and can help connect you with the right resources. We're here to guide you through every step of the financing process to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible.
